Boring day for notes. I will note (yet again) that Dax Kilby has still not played since his first rehab game on May 28th.

FCL Yankees (14-13) (Lost to the Phillies, 10-9, in 11 innings)
3B Richard Matic: 0-for-5, RBI, BB, 2 K
Matic barely keeps his 27-game on-base streak alive.
CF-RF Wilberson De Pena: 1-for-6, 2 K
After an insane May, De Pena has come back to Earth in June. He is 4-for-25 without an extra-base hit or run batted in.
C Queni Pineda: 1-for-4, 2B (3), R, 2 BB, 2 K
Pineda has a 5-game hitting streak (7-for-21)
2B Leni Done: 3-for-6, 2B (5), 2 R, 2 SB (14)
Done has a 7-game hitting streak (10-for-27; 4 doubles).
DH Jose Castro: 2-for-4, RBI, 2 R, 2 SB (13), CS (4), 2 BB, K
Castro’s first game since May 15th. He is 12-for-33 (1 triple, 2 HR, 9 RBI, 12 R, 13-for-17 SB, 15 BB, 11 K). Not only has he reached base safely in all 11 games, but he has also drawn at least one walk in every game.
RF Francisco Vilorio: 0-for-3, 2 K
Vilorio is 0-for-9 in three games.
LF-1B Christofer Reyes: 1-for-2, R
SS Dexters Peralta: 3-for-5, 2B (3), HR (7), 5 RBI, 2 R, CS (1), K
Peralta has been productive, hitting .244/.373/.556 (3 doubles, 2 triples, 7 HR, 26 RBI, 20 R, 6-for-7 SB) in 27 games. He is tied for the league lead in home runs (with De Pena) and is tied for second in RBI (behind De Pena’s 32).
1B Justin Capellan: 0-for-4, R, BB, K
CF Isael Arias: 0-for-0
LF-RF-LF Estivenzon Montero: 0-for-2, RBI, HBP, 2 BB, K
RHP Stanly Alcantara: 3.1 IP, 6 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 1 K
Alcantara’s biggest issue in his 45-game career is the strike zone. He has walked 99 hitters in 84.2 innings.
LHP Marco Manzano: 1.2 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 1 K
RHP Austin Breedlove: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K
1.98 ERA (13.2 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 HR, 5 BB, 18 K)
RHP Rafael Arias: 1 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 1 K
RHP Jorge Luna (L, 0-1): 2.1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
Luna hit an impressive four batters.
DSL Yankees (1-5) (Lost to the DSL Tigers 2, 5-4. They played a 7-inning game).
CF Isaias Castillo: 2-for-2, HR (4), RBI, 2 R, BB
Castillo is off to quite a start. He is hitting .407/.448/1.000 (yes, that’s his SLG, not his OPS) in 29 PA (2 doubles, 1 triple, 4 HR, 8 RBI, 10 R, 2-for-2 SB). A 17-year-old displaying this kind of pop is impressive at any level.
2B Stiven Marinez: 1-for-3, RBI, K
Marinez has started his campaign with a 5-game hitting streak (8-for-19)
RF Yostin Pena: 2-for-3, HR (2), RBI, R
Pena has started his campaign with a 6-game hitting streak (10-for-26; 2 HR, 10 RBI). Remember that Pena is the kid the Cardinals signed ($300,000) before voiding the contract due to age-related concerns.
SS Juan Torres: 0-for-3
I don’t typically post a day like this for DSL players, but given how good Torres has been, going 0-for-3 is notable. It drops his average to .407 (.367 career)
LHP Fredy Penuelas: 4.1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
7.2 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 12 K.
DSL Bombers (1-5) (No-hit by the DSL Marlins, 13-0. The Marlins stole 13 bases and walked 12 times)
SS Mani Cedeno: 0-for-2, BB, K
Cedeno is off to a slow start (4-for-20; 4 BB, 8 K)
