3B Richard Matic1-for-4, 2B (7), 2 RBI, 2 K
Matic has reached base safely in all 22 of his games this season. He is hitting a robust .325/.456/.506 in 103 plate appearances.
LF Wilberson De Pena0-for-4, K
Strange sight to see nothing of significance by De Pena’s name.
C Queni Pineda0-for-4, K
2B Leni Done1-for-3
DH Francisco Vilorio0-for-2, R, BB
Vilorio, who signed for $1.7 million in 2024, makes his 2026 debut. Now 19, he has fallen into some disfavor in prospect circles, as he struggled in his first DSL season. Last year, he rebounded to hit .279/.387/.366 in 217 PA. He hit ten doubles and three triples but did not hit a home run.
RF Logan Maxwell2-for-3, 2 R, SB (1)
Maxwell begins his rehab assignment. The 23-year-old played in 14 games earlier this season for Tampa, hitting .245/.345/.388 with a double and a pair of home runs.
SS Dexters Peralta0-for-2, RBI, R, HBP, K
1B Justin Capellan: 1-for-2, RBI, R, BB, K

Manzano has 17 strikeouts in eight innings, but has also walked ten.
RHP Danny Flatt1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K
Flatt was demoted here from Tampa. For Tampa, he made four starts, compiling a 5.48 ERA in 21.1 innings with a 13/6 K/BB.
RHP Edinzo Marquez1 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, HR

DSL Yankees (1-0) (Defeated DSL Miami, 9-3)

Note that I will do full lineups today, but will not be the norm.

CF Isaias Castillo1-for-5, 2B (1), RBI, R, SB (1), 3 K
Castillo was a $750,000 signing in 2025. He hit .244/.352/.378 in 105 plate appearances at this level last year.
DH Stiven Marinez3-for-5, 2B (1), 3 RBI, 2 R
The 18-year-old bonus baby ($1.65 million) impressed last season, hitting .275/.424/.375 in 205 PA. He stole 22 bases in 28 attempts.
RF Yostin Pena: 2-for-4, 2 2B (2), 2 RBI, 2 R, SB (1)
The 18-year-old makes his professional debut.  He has an interesting story, as he originally signed with the Cardinals for $300,000. However, that contract was voided due to age-related concerns.
2B Juan Torres1-for-3, HR (1), 2 RBI, R, SB (1), BB
In a sea of bonus babies, Torres ($50,000) stole the show at a cheaper cost. He hit .359/.406/.516 in 170 PA (10 doubles, 4 HR, 43 RBI, 32 R).
C Jose Lavagnino0-for-2, SF, RBI, BB, K
The left-handed hitting Lavagnino hit .241/.373/.389 in 67 plate appearances last season.
1B Cesar Lopez1-for-4, 3 K
The 17-year-old right-handed bat makes his debut. He is a catcher who signed for $150,000 this year.  Remember that the Yankees didn’t end up with any of the “big fish” during the signing period.
SS Abrahan Pichardo: 0-for-3, HBP
The 17-year-old makes his professional debut.  He signed for $100,000.
LF Eliezer Adames2-for-4, R, SB (1)
The 18-year-old struggled in his debut campaign last year (5-for-43 with a triple).
3B Emmanuel Orozco1-for-2, 2 R, SB (1), 2 BB
Orozco was only 16 when he made his debut last season. He went 3-for-40 with a double, triple, and an 8-for-10 stolen base rate.

LHP Fredy Penuelas3.1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 K
RHP Victor De Leon (W, 1-0): 1.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K
This is how you impress in your debut!  De Leon signed for a mere $10,000.
LHP Luis Rodriguez2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, HR

DSL Bombers (Lost to DSL Colorado, 8-6. Down 8-0 entering the bottom of the 8th, they scored one in the 8th and five in the 9th but came up short.)

CF Ruben Castillo1-for-1, SB (1)
I am not sure why he was pulled from the game.  The 18-year-old left-handed bat hit .220/.338/.366 in 225 PA last season (20-for-32 SB).  He signed for $875,000.
   PR-CF Alfiery Matos1-for-3, R, BB
SS Mani Cedeno1-for-4, 2B (1), 2 R, BB, 2 K
A $2.5 million signing in January 2025 (he was signed a month after Marinez), Cedeno struggled in his debut campaign, hitting .183/.371/.305 in 213 PA. The most alarming part of his profile was the 35.7% strikeout rate.
3B Germayhoni Beltre: 3-for-4, RBI, R, BB
An impressive debut for the 17-year-old. He signed for $100,000.
1B David Carrera2-for-5, 2B (1), 3 RBI, R, K
The 19-year-old is in his third season at this level. He is a .273/.412/.377 career hitter over 294 plate appearances.
C Alessandro Rodriguez1-for-5, 2 K
The 17-year-old went 2-for-15 in nine games at this level last year.
LF Richard Meran2-for-4, RBI, R, CS (1), K
Speaking of a long time in the DSL, this is Meran’s fourth campaign.  The 19-year-old hasn’t played much (76 games) and did hit .300/.481/.538 in 30 games here last year.
DH Stalen Ramirez: 2-for-5, RBI, SB (1)
The 17-year-old catcher makes his professional debut. No details on his signing bonus are available, so he was cheap.
RF Sebastian Pinto: 0-for-5, K
The 18-year-old makes his professional debut. He signed for $10,000.  Yes, this likely means Ramirez signed for under $10,000.
2B Adrian Feliz: 1-for-3, BB
The 17-year-old played in 23 games last season, hitting .186/.294/.203 with a double.

RHP Randy Angomas (L, 0-1): 0.2 IP, 4 H, 6 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, HR
The 18-year-old struggled in 12 starts during his 2025 debut campaign.
LHP Kevin Centeno3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K
Nice job settling the game down by the 20-year-old who pitched to a 4.58 ERA in 33.1 innings with a 53/23 K/BB last year.
LHP Andre Avila2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K
The 20-year-old is repeating the level after posting a 4.50 ERA in 20 innings last season.
RHP Diego Carrillo2.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, HR
The 18-year-old had a solid debut campaign in 2025, pitching to a 3.82 ERA in 35.1 innings with a 33/18 K/BB.
RHP Oscar Vasquez: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K
Vasquez is a 21-year-old who posted a 7.20 ERA over 10 games in 2024. He didn’t pitch in 2025.
