Jackson, scheduled to have the day off on his second day back off the injured list, finished out the inning defensively after Kent was ejected.

Rodriguez’s numbers aren’t great; yet, I still find them encouraging. Maybe the .270/.391/.351 line in May has something to do with that.

West has at least shown more pop in May (5 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs; .436 SLG). His SLG was .289 in April.

It was an emergency situation, but I will note that this is his first action at shortstop in 2026.
