RF JoJo Jackson0-for-3
Jackson is looking for his first hit as his rehab continues.
C John Cristino1-for-3, HR (3), RBI, R, K
Cristino’s 8th inning homer not only gave them a short-lived lead – it was their only hit this morning/afternoon. There is zero doubt in my mind that Cristino (25) will be in Tampa once the FCL season concludes, if not before. By the way, this was the second time he was behind the plate. He has 13 starts at first base.

3B Alfred Ciriaco2-for-6, RBI, R, 2 SB (6)
At 18, he isn’t a young guy for the DSL – but this is his debut campaign. Ciriaco is 13-for-37 (.351) with a double and seven RBI. Impressive, he has struck out twice (0.05%).
CF Angel Ventura2-for-5, 2B (3), R, CS (2), BB, 2 K

DSL Bombers (7-11) (Defeated the DSL Cardinals, 4-3. It wasn’t as wild as the previous two days (0-2 despite scoring 29 runs), but they did win this on a walk-off. It was a 7-inning game)

CF Ruben Castillo1-for-4, K
.236/.323/.400 in 62 PA. Castillo started the season 2-for-22. He is 11-for-33 since, including nine hits in his last five games.
SS Stiven Marinez2-for-3, 3B (1), RBI, BB, K
I always say to not worry about it if a teenager initially struggles out of the game. However, my eyes open quickly when a 16-year-old jumps out to a big start. That’s Marinez, who is hitting .310/.500/.381 in 60 PA (1 double, 1 triple, 0 HR, 6 RBI, 12 R, 9-for-10 SB, 15 BB, 13 K). You have my attention, kid.
C Queni Pineda0-for-3, R, BB
DH Browm Martinez0-for-4, R
RF Jose Castro2-for-4, 2B (1), HR (1), 3 RBI, R, K
Castro homered in the 6th for the appetizer. The main course was a 2-out, 2-run double in the bottom of the 7th to walk it off. The 19-year-old has appeared in only three games this season, and these were his first two hits. How can you not love this game?
3B Juan Torres1-for-3

RHP Carlos Hampshire (W, 1-1) 3.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 4 K
The 20-year-old earns his first professional win.
